Getting there:

For anyone driving to the park on Sunday I have received the following notice from the Royal Parks, so best leaving yourself plenty of time to avoid disruptions:

It’s worth noting that Donald Trump’s visit to London will have an impact on Regent's Park as he is staying in Winfield House. Mr Trump will not be on site by the time your event starts on Sunday however there will be closures to the outer circle as well as some areas of the park. This will not disrupt your running route but will disrupt your journey to and from the park.

We will be keeping as close to race schedule as possible as I am aware that many of you may (or possibly may not) want to be in front of a TV from 3pm!

The Route:

The 10km route is a 3 lap course starting and finishing near The Hub in Regents Park. The course starts on the path adjacent to the area behind the cricket nets and will continue south towards the small double bridge, turning left prior to the bridge and skirting the perimeter of the boating lake, continuing along until a left turn up the Broadwalk. Turn right after the fountain towards Chester Gate and then round the playground, towards the Zoo and the fountain once more. Once past the fountain, turn right and follow the path along the perimeter of London Zoo. At the end of the Zoo path turn left towards the start/finish area. The route is covered 3 times.

Regents Park is best served by public transport. Nearest tube stations being St Johns Wood (Jubilee Line), Regents Park (Bakerloo Line) or Camden Town (Northern Line) or a variety of London Bus routes.

Toilets:

The Hub has public toilets and a café and is open from 9am
