Queen's Park Harriers invites clubs to compete in the 77th annual Liddiard Cross Country Trophy race which will be run under UKA rules. â€‹We hope to see many of the teams who have competed over the years, plus new ones.​​

Venue

Kinsbury Baptist Church Hall, 19 Slough Lane, London NW9 8QG  [Google Maps]

Number collection and bag drop at the hall.

There are no showers, but changing, washing facilities and toilets are available.

Refreshments are available in the Hall including hot drinks, cakes, sandwiches and snacks.

There will be clear signage from the Church Hall to the start line, a 600m walk away (see map below).​​​

The terrain is undulating grass land; can become water-logged and muddy after rain. Spikes are recomended, but not essential. Races start and finish in the park, with each distance having a different route.

Getting there​​

Public Transport

The nearest tube is Kingsbury (Jubilee Line) and then a 1 mile "warm up" jog to the starting area.

Bus routes 302 (Mill Hill–Kensal Rise) and 83 (Golders Green–Alperton) stop at Slough Lane, close to the Church Hall.

By Car

Parking is very limited. Please do not park on grass verges; you will get a ticket.

Start times​​

The afternoon starts with the juniors in the North West London Athletes Cross Country League, followed by the Liddiard Trophy and Patricia O'Connor Cup races*.

​

  • 13:00 – U11 - 2,000m  (1 small lap)

  • 13:15 – U13 - 3,000m  (1 large lap)

  • 13:45 – U15 - 4,000m  (1 mini lap & 1 large lap)

  • 14:15 – U17 - 5,000m  (1 small lap & 1 large lap)

  • 14:15 – Seniors* - 5 miles  (1 small lap & 2 large laps)

Men and women, and boys and girls run the same distances, together in all fixtures.​

The Under 17s start at the same time as the Seniors, though run a different course.

If you are a member of Queen's Park Harriers, and would like to enter and/or volunteer, please contact liddiard@queensparkharriers.org.uk.

​

Visiting club entries should be made via a representative at your running club. Costs are £TBC per athlete, and your club should email Malcolm French no later than Saturday 25th October 2025 with the names and the EA number of each runner who wishes to compete.​ â€‹Second claim runners may compete if their first claim club is not competing.​​​​​​​​​​

Scoring & Awards​​​​

Teams score as the sum of the gender based finishing positions of each runner.

  • Women: 4 runners per team to score.

  • Men: 8 runners per team to score.​

​

Awards are given for the first three individuals and first three teams.​

​
